Opening hours may be revised periodically and patrons will be advised through the website and notice boards.

Users must be decently dressed and with proper behaviour whlist in the library. Those wearing shorts and slippers will not be allowed in.

Use of cellular phones, smoking, eating and drinking are not permitted.

Please do not make noise.

Users are not allowed to reserve seats in the library.

Books and other materials left unattended for long periods on the table will be removed by the library staff.

No bags, umbrellas, parcels, etc. except files and books may be brought into the Library. Adequate storage facility is provided at the entrance of the Library. However, the Library is not liable for the loss of items stored.

A buzzer will be rung ten minutes before closing time and all users must vacate the premise.

On leaving the Library, all users are required to produce for inspection all books and items taken out of the Library.

The Library staff has the right to request a user to leave the premise if the user violates the rules.

The Chief Librarian is empowered to withold Library facilities for any infringement of these rules.

The Library will not accept responsibility for the loss or misplacement of personal belongings.

The Chief Librarian may amend the Library Rules and Regulations as and when necessary.
