The University of Cape Coast Library boasts the largest university library collections in the Ghana. Library services within the university are provided by over one hundred libraries. These are major research libraries, college libraries, and libraries attached to faculties, departments and other institutions of the university.

The library provides Interlibrary Loan and Document Supply services. Information regarding these services are incorporated in the Individual Library Guides pages.

There is no central contact for Interlibrary Loans and Document Supply within the University; contact details are specific to each library.

University of Cape Coast Library Services (UCCLS)

University of Cape Coast Library Services (UCCLS) is a sub-group of University Libraries which is centrally funded by the University and incorporates the major research libraries and many smaller specialised subject libraries. This group has adopted a common policy in pricing and procedure. The following pages provide detailed information on how to obtain material from libraries that are members of UCCLS. Some other University libraries may follow the same procedures.

Interlibrary Loan (ILL) and Document Supply services can be used to obtain books, journals, papers, theses, reports and other material which are not held locally. These services are offered to students and staff of Oxford University and card holders of OULS libraries.
